Stargazing

Sometimes I go stargazing, in your eyes
I get lost, but I find myself
I realize I used to swim in lies
Laying in your arms, warmth wraps around my heart

You tell me to focus on the view, but I got other matters on mind
We’re laying still, but something’s moving inside my mind
Moonlight shining upon us, but it’s your smile giving me light

How beautiful we would’ve been, two stars, for everyone to admire
For each other to desire
Even though you’re here by my side, I know we’re apart by a hundred miles

Are those two stars friends too, laying by each other’s sides?
Are those two stars friends too? They seem so close in my eyes
Are those two stars friends too, but a hundred miles apart?
Are those two stars friends too, gazing back at our hearts?
