You

I had everything in me still.

All the hurricanes tamed.

them raindrops weren’t my own teardrops.

All the cracks were fixed with the one dollar glue i bought. The tiredness of sleepless nights, the scratches on my fingertips from fixing old records, the bruises across my wrists were normal. They were gone. I was okay. I was fine. I was breathing. Sleepless nights and old picture frames, stopped searching for your name or your face in the crowds. I started liking it here without your smile.

I had everything in me still

Didn’t know that the expiration date was yesterday morning at midday and to be exact at 12:26 ; you walked through the door.

All the hurricanes were running wild inside of me.

The raindrops were double faced.

All the cracks were wide open and the glue was useless. The tiredness of sleepless nights, the scratches from fixing old records, the bruises across my wrists drew their way back on my body. I started liking it here with your smile.

I had everything in me wild,

Hurricanes, volcanos, raindrops falling on my aching stomach with all the blood rushing. My heart is beating so fast, my fingers are itching to touch your arm, to feel you. To just convince myself that I was daydreaming and there was an error in the system. You moved your head towards me and I swear I remembered hearing your laugh joking about how cute you thought I was when I complained about how they didn’t shouldn’t do so. I swear I remembered the way your eyes twinkled whenever I said something, I remembered the way your eyes loved me .

I had everything in me still,

When you smiled at me at 12:27

And I smiled back

Only then

All the hurricanes were tamed.

them raindrops weren’t my own teardrops.

All the cracks had your favorite white roses in them . The tiredness of sleepless nights, the scratches on my fingertips from fixing old records, the bruises across my wrists were my beauty marks .. I was okay. I was fine. I was breathing. I was alive . I stopped searching for your name or your face in the crowds, because Fate seemed to bring you back into my heart, where you belong. I started loving it here with your smile.
