Sometimes I like taking casual strolls in a life with no you.
Where my memories of you is from skim to zero
Where you never came and brought the sun and the flowers with you.
Where you never left and took my soul with you
Where you never came and drew sun beams and rainbow flecks on my rainy windows and gloomy nights.
Where your glass like eyes just weren’t that brown anymore.
Where you never came back and shook me to my core sucking me deeper into this quicksand of love im in.
Where the enchanting details of your smiles along with all of your dazzling, full-toothed grins weren’t tattooed into the back of my mind.
Where your weird concepts and theories never took place in my overthinkings.
Where your writings weren’t printed inside my brain and screwed shut on.
Where your awful laugh wasn’t a lullaby calming that heart that beats in only shades of you.
I like taking casual strolls in a life with no you in it
And guess what
I’m smiling where you never existed
