I watched him entwine our fingers like padlocks,
so tight like he would with his trapeze,
he peppered salty kisses on my cheeks,
as he flipped me in the air with all his strength,
just as we did in the trust falls rehearsals,
the feeling of soaring against gravity was exquisite,
but never as alluring as being high on his mischievous glow,
his tenacity was to be put on a pedestal,
i felt my body gravitating downwards,
and i let myself loose,
like standing in the middle of the sea,
and anticipating the knackering waves,
nobody adulated diving as much as him after all,
he caught my body in all his magnetic glory,
as he uncovered my deepest desires to himself, the blue moon, the deafening sea and everything in between,
he raised his palms above his head,
and wiggled his fingers in beckoning of the victory of his coruscating catch,
my eyes were plastered on him,
as if Iโ€™m terrified of missing one of his blinks or sighs or yawns that i always cut in half,
he glistened in iridescence like the world rested at his own feet,
when he grazed cheeky grins on my face, he emitted effulgent triumph,
when life planted tear seeds in my tear ducts, he was a reverberating remedy,
he muted my palpitating pain by the zestful bottomless quicksand of his love,
the nicknames he thoroughly thought of for me scattered sheer opulence in my bloodstream,
the way heโ€™d open his arms wide for me to swoop in sprinkled giddiness in the pit of my stomach,
his passion tickled my neck and blossomed my heart into hot pink dripping cotton candy,
he was shimmer in my belly and star dust between my toes,
he was a tumble in the outer space,
he was the stars and the sky and the whole fucking constellation,
he was the sun,
my sun,
and i worshiped the light a little too much.
